Course Objectives: 
The aim of this course is to provide dental students with knowledge of the anatomy and histology of the mouth, head and neck region. It covers in detail the macroscopic and microscopic of the dentition, jaws, oral cavity, and salivary glands, The basic bridging knowledge in this course will assist students in building up learning strategies, approaching and understanding clinical courses, and adds to the students’ ability to clinically evaluate a patient.
Course Content: 

The course includes  topics such as biofilm, clinical anatomy of salivary glands, macroscopic and microscopic anatomy of teeth and surrounding tissues, lips, functional anatomy of cheeks and the tongue, mucosal immunology, genetic sciences and syndromes of genetic origin.
