Course Objectives: 
This is a one-semester course intend to basic medical information about general surgery diseases that are important for public health.
Course Content: 

In this course, the history of surgery, systemic pathophysiological effects, conditions requiring emergency surgical intervention, wound healing, wound care and prevention of wound infections, major surgical procedures such as organ transplant and oncology surgery will be discussed.
