Course Objectives:
The fourth-year didactic course in oral surgery focuses on more advanced surgical topics including management of impacted teeth, apical resection, management of benign and malignant lesions of the jaws and management of general anesthesia and sedation. The fourth-year clinic course in oral surgery consist of 2 semester entegrated clinic during which the students are fully immersed in all of the activities of the department including exodontias procedures, surgical consultations, and postoperative evaluations; assisting complex dentoalveolar surgical cases.
Course Content:
Surgical treatment of impacted teeth, cyst and benign tumors, orofacial infection of soft and hard tissue, basic and advanced life support will be discussed
