Course Objectives: 
The aim of this course is to prepare the student to recognize basic oral implantology problems; to provide students with the opportunity to be exposed to implant dentistry, to make decision on different surgery alternatives, to plan and apply different treatment options; and solving the possible upcoming problem
Course Content: 

The course includes topics such as historical background of oral implantology, Technical terms of oral implantology, the benefits of oral implants (generally, anatomy for oral implantology, Oral implantology diagnosis and indications, different radiographic technics in oral implantology, disinfections, asepsis, antisepsis and sterilization, Systemic evaluation of implant patients and contraindications, Bone quality, quantity,  and bone classification, Clinical evaluation of implant patients, Osseointegration of implants, Implant materials and surface structures, Bone grafting materials, guided bone regeneration membranes, Implant surgery protocols and implant types, advanced implant surgery, Mini dental implants, Implant prosthesis,Prosthetic and surgical implant complications and cases, Peri-implantitis and recall and maintenance and case discussions.
