Prosthodontics

Prosthodontics is a branch of dentistry that deals with the correction and maintenance of oral function, aesthetics and patient health by restoring the loss of material in natural teeth, missing teeth and surrounding oral and maxillofacial tissues with artificial materials. This discipline deals with the construction of fixed prostheses, removable prostheses, maxillofacial prostheses and implant-over-implant prostheses and the treatment of temporomandibular disorders.
