Course Objectives: 
This course is conducted with the collaboration of the departments of Physiology, Anatomy, and Histology and Embryology. The course aims to familiarize the student with the functions and principles of endocrine and urogenital systems

The course includes  topics such as Renal Circulation and Glomerular Functions, Tubular Functions & Micturition, Fluid and Electrolyte Balance, Regulation of Acid-­‐Base Balance, Introduction to Endocrinology, Pituitary Gland and Hypothalamic Control, Thyroid Metabolic Hormones, Adrenocortical Hormones, Hormonal Regulation of Bone Turnover, Insulin, Glucagon & Regulation of Blood Glucose, Male Reproductive Physiology, Female Reproductive Physiology, Pregnancy and Lactation, Glomerular Functions and Hormone Action, Histology of Urinary System, Histology of Endocrine System, Histology of Urinary and Endocrine System, Endocrine glands, Kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder and urethra and male and female genital organs.
